I met and spoke with this guy twice in 2008 December in Kailua Hawaii. He was playing golf on our golf course. He was immensely friendly. In Africa, he was loved and many were wearing t-shirts with his picture as I traveled throughout Africa…
In 2010 I attended the final season premier of the super popular series, LOST, held on Waikiki Beach. I saw all the stars and talked with some. It was a fun evening! I would occasionally run into some of the stars on Lanikai Beach or Lanikai Loop, when I used to live in Kailua. They were always friendly!
I was the speaker to the graduating class of 2002 at the UOP School of Business and Public Administration, invited back 25 years later because I was the first speaker in 1978. My parents attended, RIP dad, and we spent time with my UOP mother and mentor, Judy Chambers, longtime Vice President of Student Life, RIP Judy. Tough crowd to speak to…what does one tell the new graduates . It was a lot of fun!
